Charmed star Holly Marie Combs claims Shannen Doherty promised to haunt her
Holly Marie Combs provided insight into Shannen Doherty’s dying days, revealing that her friend had made arrangements believing she had more time.
Shannen Doherty’s loved ones find comfort in remembering who she was.
After Shannen died of breast cancer at the age of 53 on July 13, her Charmed co-star Holly Marie Combs offered poignant homage to her late friend—along with a hint to Shannen’s sense of humor.
“It’s been one week and it feels like forever,” Holly captioned a July 21 Instagram post with a video montage of photographs of the Heathers actress. “I spent all day looking for one particular picture and found just about every picture but that one.”
She then joked, “Shannen vowed to haunt me, but I assumed she’d be preoccupied with a few others at first. Unfortunately, I’m sure it will appear when and where I least expect it. “My rock.”
The following day, the Pretty Little Liars alum pondered on one of the most difficult aspects of her friend’s passing.
“I think she did as much as she could in the time that she had, but we thought we had more time,” Holly said through tears on the July 22 episode of the Charmed rewatch podcast, House of Halliwell. “That’s the truly tragic thing. We had huge plans for the year. And she didn’t believe she was going anywhere anytime soon.
