Eva Longoria breaks our hearts by donating $50,000 to workers and families affected by the Los Angeles Fires! My heart’s broken

“Thank you to everyone who is out there helping and doing their part,” the actress stated in a heartfelt Instagram video.

Eva Longoria vowed with all her heart.

As the flames in Los Angeles continue, the 49-year-old actress posted a heartfelt video message on Instagram on Saturday, January 11.

Longoria stated in her video that she is giving $50,000 to the charity This Is About Humanity in order to help frontline firefighters and their families who have been affected by the fires.

She remarked, “It’s been a horrible week for a lot of folks, a lot of friends who have lost a lot… memories and things for which people have put forth a lot of effort.”

The former cast member of Desperate Housewives then disclosed that she and her family had to leave their house because they were “under a warning” and “kept getting an alarm.”

But now she’s taking in friends “who had evacuated from other areas,” she added.

“We’ve donated clothes, I literally emptied out my pantry to take down to all of the places that are accepting donations,” Longoria went on. “This Is About Humanity will have my support.

For families affected by the fires and frontline vital personnel, they are matching up to $50,000. That $50,000 will be matched by me personally.

The money will “support all of these families who are working tirelessly to keep us sustained with food,” the actress clarified.
