Fifteen years later, Lady Gaga verifies that the Telephone video will continue, but will Beyoncé join her again?
Since the debut of the Jonas Åkerlund-directed music video for Gaga and Beyoncé’s “Telephone” in 2010, fans have been anticipating a follow-up.
One notable ending of the Lady Gaga and Beyoncé music video for their popular song “Telephone” is “To be continued…” Since then, supporters have been eagerly awaiting the news.
The “Abracadabra” singer passed a lie detector exam in a new Vanity Fair video, confirming that the eagerly anticipated “Telephone” sequel is still in the works. Although she has not disclosed any specifics, it appears that she and Beyoncé may work together once more.
“The final line of your song ‘Telephone’ music video read, ‘To be continued…’.” Will it ever be carried on? questioned the host of the outlet.
“Yes,” Gaga said shakily, as though she was a little reluctant to respond straight.
The host inquired, “When?”
“I don’t know,” Gaga confessed.

The host then displayed a picture of Queen Bey and asked, “Will this person be in it?”
“Maybe,” said Gaga, holding up the photo and flashing a smile. As the second single from 2009’s The Fame Monster, “Telephone” was made available. The song reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 list and got a Grammy award for best pop collaboration with vocals.
In March 2010, Jonas Åkerlund’s accompanying music video for the song debuted. The campy, extravagant video, which is a follow-up to Gaga’s “Paparazzi” visual, shows Gaga as a stylish prisoner who was imprisoned for poisoning her spouse.
