For this reason, Johnny Depp reprises his Captain Jack Sparrow role from Pirates of the Caribbean
Johnny Depp, who starred in Pirates of the Caribbean, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow for a special visit to a children’s hospital.
For a while, Johnny Depp lived the life of a pirate again.
Actually, the actor—who played Captain Jack Sparrow in five Pirates of the Caribbean movies—recently donned his costume once more to pay a visit to a pediatric hospital located in San Sebastian, Spain.
The 61-year-old was seen in the September 26 images strolling down a hospital hallway looking like a real person, complete with his notoriously long beard, bandana, and tricorne. In a different photo, the actor is seen conversing with a patient while standing next to their bed.
Depp has played the role again for his younger audience before. He recreated the iconic look for a young fan of the Pirates in 2022, 11-year-old Kori, who was a patient in palliative care following two heart transplants and had a YouTube channel devoted to the movie and character.
Depp apologized profusely for missing out on the opportunity to meet Captain Kori in a video collaboration with the Make-A-Wish organization. “I wanted to say it, but I forgot to say it, so I’m going to say it now. I’ll say it, I swear. I’ve heard rumors about a YouTube channel that they talk about, which is something I don’t understand, but why not?
