Have they really made up? Jenn spends time with Ben’s kids before back to school
With his former partner Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck is the father of Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE, Jennifer Lopez wants to spend some additional time with Ben Affleck’s children before they return to school.
“Wants to spend quality time with them before school resumes and Violet is off to college,” the source claims that the 55-year-old musician has stated. Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, are shared by Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony have twins Max and Emme, 16, as well.
It doesn’t follow that she doesn’t care about Ben’s children just because they aren’t together. She was concerned about them, always,” the insider says. “She spent months looking for the perfect house for their blended family last year.”
According to the insider, Affleck was at his Brentwood rental house on Sunday, August 11, when the Hustlers actress paid him a visit. She had taken his son Samuel to the mall earlier in the day.
Prior to August 6, a source informed PEOPLE that Lopez and Affleck hadn’t seen one another “in weeks.” That source was added: “They’re moving on apart. Jennifer is looking to move to a new place so she can start over.”
The most of the summer has been spent apart from each other as Ben was in Los Angeles filming his next sequel, The Accountant 2, and Lopez was on vacation in both Europe and the Hamptons, New York.
The pair spent Lopez’s birthday and their two-year anniversary last month on different coasts.
