In the February 14 Instagram picture with a love theme, the pair also sang to their live pets.

Chrissy Teigen, John Legend’s wife, has joined him as a musical collaborator!

On Friday, February 14, the pair posted a humorous Valentine’s Day duet to Instagram, where they serenade their dogs, including the ashes of their deceased dog Penny, to the timeless song “L-O-V-E.”

Teigen, 39, is wearing red lingerie at the start of the video, while Legend, 46, is dressed entirely in pink. Their big poodle, Petey, sprawls out on their laps. The song then switches to the couple holding a different family pet for each stanza, with Teigen changing her outfit with each subsequent picture.

The two then sing to a little wooden box at the end of one of the verses, which Legend later reveals holds Penny’s ashes after she passed away last month.

In an Instagram post honoring the three-legged French bulldog, Teigen revealed that Penny passed away quietly in her sleep on January 25.

Penny, our lovely little tripod queen, died quietly while she slept today. She was born eleven years ago on the day that John and I were married, and she supported us through every birth, every sorrow, and every happiness. Even in her final weeks, she enjoyed nothing more than being pampered, getting her nub stroked, and destroying every ball she could get her hands on,” the post started.
