In Mexico, a kind guy treks hundreds of kilometers with a cart rescuing abandoned animals and finding their houses.
He has rescued around 500 stray animals in the last 6 years. On his trips along the Border, he saw all of them. If you ever have the opportunity to meet a 49-year-old, you would immediately recognize him. It’s a bizarre sight: a guy pulling a cart down the roadside, which is surrounded by only animals from above, in front, below, and on all sides.
He started his travels around the Border with Mexico 6 months ago, assisting people in distress. The animals, on the other hand, were in better shape. “No one assists stray animals on the streets. I understand their anguish. In a scenario, I believe that everybody, how well a human or a pet, requires companionship and a little affection.”
Dogs were rescued and successfully accommodated throughout the person’s story. However, there were many who were too late to save on his route. Edgardo’s kindness is sufficient for them as well; he stays with the suffering until the very last moment.
“It really doesn’t bother me as much if dogs are abused, offended, or abandoned by their owners. What hurts the most is that humans are capable of doing it.”
The majority of Edgardo’s canines are only meant to be friends for a short time. Others, on the other hand, go with him after decades.
