Jennifer Lopez says that taking the summer off to spend time with her parents is the best thing she’s ever done

In order to spend “time off” with her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, the actress and singer had earlier postponed her summer tour.

Jennifer Lopez remembers her summer with her kids in a positive light.

In a recent interview of The Graham Norton Show, which aired on Friday, November 8, the 55-year-old star of Unstoppable said that spending the summer with her kids, following the cancellation of her This Is Me… Live tour in May, was “the best thing I think I’ve ever done.”

In May, Lopez chose to take some “time off to be with her children, family, and close friends” and canceled the run of shows, according to a statement she posted on her OntheJLo website.

Max and Emme, Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, are her children with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“I decided to take this summer off and be home with the kids and it was the best thing I think I’ve ever done,” Lopez stated in response to host Graham Norton, 61, on the show regarding the cancellation of the tour.

Regarding her summer vacation, she continued, “It’s not like me to do that.””When it comes up, I like to apologize to the fans because I know a lot of them were coming out,” she continued, alluding to the tour’s cancellation.

After that, Lopez related a recent encounter with admirers in the United Kingdom who informed her that they had made plans to see her on tour.
