The 43-year-old actress posted a summary of the previous evening, which included a date night in Washington, D.C., with her 45-year-old husband, on Friday, October 4.

“My favorite humans and I had the nicest time in Washington, DC! “Thank you so much for having us @elcinfo! What a fun night!” she said as the description for an Instagram carousel. “Mom & Dad @cash_warren got dressed up to attend the ELC gala.” Alba and Warren looked dapper for the Executive Leadership Council’s banquet in a number of the roundup’s photos.

For the special event, the Honey star chose a black tulle gown with a nude underlay and no straps. The bottom half flowed, but the top had a fitted, corset-like construction. Alba accessorized the outfit with diamond drop earrings and a black clutch purse.

Alba opted for a natural makeup look, adding a punch of color with a dark red lip.

Wearing a traditional black suit and tie with a white collared shirt underneath, Warren posed next to his wife for pictures. A video of the pair, who were married in 2008, dancing to Bell Biv DeVoe’s music was also included in Alba’s post.
