Lindsay Lohan is optimistic about the future.
In a recent interview with Flaunt magazine, the Our Little Secret actress, who first gained recognition as the remarkable child star of The Parent Trap in 1998, expressed her “huge sense of gratitude” for having “lived through so many different experiences in life.”
The 38-year-old Lohan continued, “I’ve seen it all. It has also given me a lot of strength. I’ve become such a powerful lady as a result. It’s wonderful to feel like I’ve empowered myself in many ways. At my age, I know myself better than ever.
The celebrity presently resides in Dubai with her husband Bader Shammas and their little boy Luai. She has previously been open about letting go of her past transgressions.
“Today is my life. Every day is a fresh start in my life. “I live in anticipation of the future,” she said to Flaunt. “I live without regrets. I believe I’ve learned from everything that has happened, and I’m thankful for that. Because everything in life serves as a lesson, you know.Lohan continued, “It’s better not just to toss those lessons aside because you never know … you always want to learn from anything in the past.”
Lohan now wants “absolutely everything I do to be in line with my values.”
