Sylvester Stallone has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming feature-length action movie The Expendables 4. The actor and his partner Jason Statham have returned to their longtime roles as Barney Ross and Lee Christmas.
They lead a team of operatives on a mission to eliminate a terrorist. The project also involved Dolph Lundgren, Megan Fox, rapper 50 Cent (Curtis James Jackson III) and Thai actor Tony Jaa.
The trailer begins with Ross and Christmas taking the team out into the arid desert, preparing to take on a new mission. They infiltrated the military base and started blowing up its facilities before Statham’s character yelled “To hell with it.”
In addition to epic scenes with hand-to-hand combat, gunfights and chases, there was a place for spicy content in the film. So, Gina, played by Megan Fox, starred in sеxy lingеrie.
She appeared in bed with the hero of Statham. An intimate relationship began with the words of the actress: “First things first.”
The video also showed the crew storming a freighter, with Christmas attempting to single-handedly capsize the craft during the attack. Ross subsequently saved Christmas’s life in a fight with his attackers.
“Almost killed me, damn it,” Lee complained. “Not at all,” Barney replied. During the fast-paced action scenes, Lundgren’s Ganner Jensen appeared in the frame. “How glad I am to be back,” he said.
Stallone started filming The Expendables in 2010. Then two more parts were released, in 2012 and 2014. In 2017, the actor announced that he was leaving the franchise due to creative differences over the script and direction, but later he returned to the role of Ross.
Various stars joined the project during its development, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, Jackie Chan, Hulk Hogan, Dwayne Johnson, according to the Daily Mail.
