Motherhood is the only thing that matters to me, says Angelina Jolie! Everything else can be taken away
The actress and her ex-partner Brad Pitt have six children together: Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Above all, Angelina Jolie is a mother.
In an interview with Michael Strahan on Good Morning America about her new movie, Maria, the 49-year-old actress and mother of six, revealed that motherhood is her primary priority, much like singing was for Jolie’s character, Maria Callas, in her new film.
“It’s my happiness,” Jolie remarked of being a mother. “You can deprive me of everything else. Nothing else is important.
The celebrity and her ex-husband Brad Pitt are parents to six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
Jolie described working with her boys Maddox and Pax as a “amazing” experience for Maria. To the dismay of her children, the actress practiced singing opera in her home while preparing for the role, she joked.
“All of my children suffered through my early opera singing in the house before I got kinda good, which was a nightmare,” Jolie recalls.
Jolie had her teenage son Knox with her when she walked the red carpet at the Governor’s Awards earlier this week in Los Angeles, California.
