Olivia showed off her revenge dress at the Governors Awards. And she’s just great!
Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Lawrence, and Cate Blanchett brought their fashion A-game to the 13th Governors Awards held at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Recently single Wilde, 38, stepped on the red carpet for the first time since her split from Harry Styles, 28, made headlines the day prior, and was the belle of the ball in a transparent black and white lace gown, with a white tulle dress underneath.
Lawrence, 32, showed off her toned arms in a low-cut black and white dress with floral and star motifs throughout, while Blanchett, 53, stunned in a dramatic light pink tulle gown with an asymmetric black blazer.

This year’s honorary Oscars will go to directors Peter Weir and Euzhan Palcy, and songwriter Diane Warren, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Michael J. Fox. Weir is a six-time Oscar nominee, best known for Witness, Dead Poets Society, and Master and Commander.

Meanwhile Palcy made history at the 1983 Venice Film Festival when her first film, Sugar Cane Alley took the Silver Lion, as the first for a Black female director, as well as any Black director. Warren has received 13 Best Original Song nominations, and is now the first recipient of an honorary Oscar in the music branch.

Meanwhile Fox, who has never received an Oscar nomination, was chosen for his work in creating the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Wilde wore her brunette tresses slicked back for the night and sported a matching pair of elbow-length gloves and strappy black heels.
