The actress, who looked almost identical in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” played Lydia Deetz when she was barely 15 years old.

It doesn’t appear like Winona Ryder has aged at all since her Beetlejuice role. The actress, who was only 15 years old at the time, beat out a formidable field of actresses, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Brooke Shields,

Molly Ringwald, Juliette Lewis, Jennifer Connelly, and Alyssa Milano, to land the role of goth teen Lydia Deetz in director Tim Burton’s 1988 horror comedy. After appearing in supporting roles in Lucas (1986) and Square Dancing (1987), Ryder’s breakthrough performance in the popular picture marked her third feature film and solidified her reputation as the epitome of ’90s angst.

36 years later, Ryder is back in the role of Lydia in Burton’s eagerly awaited Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Like Lydia, Ryder, a TV personality and mother, still looks like her younger self, complete with spiky fringe and a funeral-themed clothing from the first movie.
