During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show on November 8, the 55-year-old singer and actress had a tearful reunion with a fan she had seen the day before the show was shot.
The unexpected reunion happened when Lopez, who was in the UK promoting her new movie Unstoppable, talked about how her This Is Me… Live tour had been canceled in May and recalled a lovely conversation she had had the day before.
“I know a lot of fans were coming out, so I would like to apologize to them,” she added.
As I was leaving the hotel yesterday, fans said to me, “Oh, I had tickets to go see you.'” I said, ‘I’m so sorry,’ but he said, ‘don’t say sorry.'” I saw supporters here, and this was really very sweet. We cherish you. I immediately broke down in tears.
When a man in the crowd yelled at Lopez that he was the fan she had talked to the day before, she retorted, “Was that you?! “Oh my god,” she said, gesturing toward him.
Lopez then rose from her chair, approached the fan, and gave him a tearful embrace as the fan seemed to soothe her once more.
