having appeared in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale and the star-studded film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood — and fans love seeing her in a bikiոi!
Sydney has always been proud to flaunt her trim figure, whether at the beach or by the pool. However, she has been subjected to body shamers throughout her adolescent and adult years.
In a February 2022 interview with GQ, the White Lotus star revealed she was chastised for the scars on her body, which she attributed to her athletic lifestyle.
“I had someone tell me once that it was [someone’s] mother… “I’m an extremely active person,” she began. “I get hurt and bruised. I got cuts after returning from laser tag, and I had rug burns all over my legs because I got so into it.
And she sat me up on the counter and told me that if I have marks on my body, no boy will ever love me.”
Despite the crude remark, Sydney responded, “Well, I guess I’ll just have to love myself.” And, while she doesn’t need a man to lean on, she is happily engaged to Jonathan Davino, her longtime boyfriend.
Because the entertainment industry can be harsh, the trained MMA fighter recalled a casting director telling her she would “never be on a TV show” because she didn’t have the “right look.”
“Now I’m on some of the world’s biggest TV shows,” Sydney added.
Aside from her physical beauty, she discussed how having other jobs and hobbies helped her maintain financial independence. She owns her own production company, attends business school, and even fixes vintage cars herself.
“I’ve lived the way I don’t want to live, and I don’t want my future children to go through the same struggles or see me stress in the same way that my parents did,” Sydney explained.
“I want to show future generations that you can achieve anything, even if you don’t have the means or connections.”
Sydney’s inner strength clearly plays a significant role in her personality and physicality.
