A hotel visitor who saw Liam Payne fall to his death is still troubled by the One Direction singer’s passing.
In mid-October, Bret Watson attended his wedding at the CasaSur Palermo in Buenos Aires. He and his wedding planner were on the first level of the hotel on October 16 when he saw Payne fall to his death.
A preliminary autopsy report states that Payne died from various injuries and “internal and external” hemorrhages after falling from a third-floor balcony at the hotel. His age was thirty-one.
In TMZ Presents, Watson disclosed: Liam Payne: Is Someone at Fault? said he and his wedding guests witnessed the singer grow increasingly drunk and act more strangely during the day before witnessing Payne collapse to his de ath.
Watson claimed to have witnessed the hotel employees carrying Payne from the foyer to his room by his arms and legs. Shortly after that, Payne was abandoned in the room and fell from the balcony.
Watson claimed that he and the wedding planner hurried to the balcony after witnessing Payne’s fall and were able to identify the late musician almost away since he had fallen face up and on his back. According to TMZ, Watson stated, “We could tell right away that it was Liam, and he was motionless.”
