25 years of happiness! Victoria and David dressed up in iconic purple outfits
Victoria and David Beckham took a trip down memory lane this week to commemorate a significant milestone in their marriage.
The famous couple shared a photo of themselves in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, in which they appear to be re-wearing their iconic purple wedding gowns while sitting on thrones and holding hands.
The former Spice Girl sported a purple gown with a rosette-covered shoulder strap and a crimson lining inside, while the famous former footballer donned a purple suit and shirt, purple suede boots, and a purple rose pinned to his lapel.
“Look what we found…,” the caption read.
The Beckhams married on July 4, 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland, dressed in purple gowns made by Antonio Berardi.
Their wedding was featured in a recent Netflix docuseries about the soccer great called “Beckham.”The wedding took place just a few months after the couple welcomed their first child, Brooklyn Beckham, now 25, on March 4, 1999.
The couple has three other children: Romeo Beckham, 21, Cruz Beckham, 19, and Harper Seven Beckham, 12.
In April, David Beckham marked Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday with a poignant message and a mosaic of photographs and videos of his partner over the years.
