The astonishing and incredible connection between a bear as well as a cat has been on display at the Hamburg Zoo for a decade.
At the moment of the creatures’ meeting, the animal was 30 years old. She was in her eighties. Menschen was her nickname. Her life was repetitive and uninteresting.
In the 2000s, this narrative started. Something happened someday. In the fence, a plant grows. The bear was staring at the dark cat.
She then collapsed. Menschen was immediately suspicious of the visitor. The kitty was adamant about not leaving. Then something unforeseen occurred.
Employees realized that the creatures had developed feelings for each other. Then there’s genuine friendship. Mus chi was the name of the kitty. She made a pact with an animal.
The creatures were unable to be separated. They enjoyed every single moment together. In 2007, the cage was closed for repairs after 7 years.
The animal was moved for the time being. The cat had been hoping for her buddy’s return for years. She wasn’t supposed to see Menschen, after all.
The creatures have finally been reunited. And they were overjoyed. The bear decided to live for another 3 years, achieving a ripe old age.
The cat then vanished. There had been tales that she was taken home by compassionate strangers. But it’s unclear if this is genuine or not.
