Amid the L.A. fires, Tyler Perry makes a heartfelt post criticizing insurance companies and stating his intention to do everything in my power to assist

The movie producer is criticizing insurance firms for canceling policies for residents of Los Angeles before the terrible fires started on January 7.

Tyler Perry has spoken out against the destruction caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles and has criticized insurance companies for their part in the loss of homes.

The 55-year-old celebrity producer opened up about some of the heartbreaking events he has seen over the past week in a post on his Instagram on Sunday, January 12.

“Watching a daughter use a garden hose to try and protect her 90-year-old parents’ home because their insurance was canceled was just gut-wrenching to me,” wrote Perry.

“Does anyone else find it appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?”
