As a wildfire approaches, Jeremy Renner shares a terrifying video of his evacuation from his Lake Tahoe home
As the Davis Fire approached his Lake Tahoe home, the actor posted upsetting images of the fire on his Instagram Stories.
Horrifying images from the Davis Fire as it got closer to Jeremy Renner’s Lake Tahoe house are being shared. The 53-year-old Hawkeye star evacuated his house outside Reno, Nevada, on Sunday, September 8,
and posted numerous images and videos of the rapidly spreading wildfire to his Instagram Stories. He wrote “evacuated” on the first slide, which was accompanied by several emojis of praying hands over a picture of dense smoke clouds rising over the mountains.
He also included the words “Reno Tahoe” and a fire emoji. Renner also shared another photo that was shot “from my driveway,” which shows even more smoke clouds and orange flames burning.
There seems to be a fire vehicle parked on his land in the corner. In another scene of the fire, the actor noted, “When the wind shifts it’s either really good or really bad.”
Along with tagging Truckee Meadows Firefighters in the caption of a picture of Washoe County, Nevada fire crew personnel, he also made sure to let his followers know that he was safe and had successfully fled. “Everyone has left and is safe.
“And now for Mother Nature,” he captioned the image in black lettering. The final two films show a fire vehicle passing above large, dark clouds that appear to be heading toward the road, and then a plane dropping red fire retardant chemicals over the smoke-filled trees.
