Ben Affleck stays in Los Angeles throughout his divorce, skipping the Toronto premiere of his film starring Jennifer Lopez
Ben Affleck used his production business Artists Equity to produce Jennifer Lopez’s latest film, “Unstoppable.” Affleck, 52, was observed leaving a building in Los Angeles on Friday, September 6, while sporting a suit and sunglasses.

It appeared as though he was heading to work. In the meantime, Unstoppable, which he produced alongside Matt Damon under the banner of Artists Equity, made its world premiere on Friday at the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.
The 55-year-old Lopez was there to support Unstoppable at the film festival. After two years of marriage, the singer-actress filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20.

The TIFF premiere was also attended by Damon and his spouse, Luciana. Don Cheadle, Michael Peña, Bobby Cannavale, and Jharrel Jerome are also featured in the new film.
It is a biographical film about real-life wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born without a leg and went on to win the 2011 NCAA national title. In the movie, Lopez plays his mother Judy Robles.

Along with Robles, David Crockett, Andy Fraser, Gary Lewis, and Lopez’s friend and producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas are producers on the movie. Two days prior to the film’s Toronto premiere,
Lopez and Affleck were spotted separately entering at the same L.A. building—where both actors have offices—at the same time. About half an hour after Lopez arrived, Affleck was spotted driving out of the same building.
