Beyoncé describes her absence from the public eye throughout the years! I work at my own speed
The singer of “Texas Hold ‘Em” discussed her rise to become one of music’s most mysterious talents in an interview with GQ.
Beyoncé has established herself as one of the most elusive musicians. The 32-time Grammy winner, who doesn’t often do interviews, discussed her decision to step away from the spotlight between promotional cycles for new projects in an interview with GQ for the magazine’s most recent cover story.
“I create at my own pace, on things that I hope will touch other people,” stated Beyoncé, 43. “I hope my work encourages people to look within themselves and come to terms with their own creativity, strength, and resilience.”
The “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer told the site that her main priorities when working on her different artistic endeavors are “storytelling, growth, and quality.” “I’m not focused on perfectionism,” Beyoncé continued.
“I focus on evolution, innovation, and shifting perception.” Her most recent album and the recently released Sir Davis whisky are no different.
“Working on the music for Cowboy Carter and launching this exciting new project [feels] nothing like prison, nor a burden,” she remarked. Actually, I only work on things that provide me freedom.
Beyoncé went on, “Fame may sometimes feel like a jail. “So, when you don’t see me on red carpets, and when I disappear until I have art to share, that’s why.”
