Brooks touching appeal that will not leave you indifferent

Fans gushed and reminisced about the celebrity Brooke Shields’ latest Instagram post, which is simply incredible. The actress felt nostalgic in her most recent tweet, disclosing an unbelievable detail about her time filming one of her most famous films, The Blue Lagoon.

The actress shared a short montage of behind-the-scenes footage and photographs of Brooke, 15, on set. “It’s been over 40 years (ahem….. supposedly) since The Blue Lagoon came out,” she captioned the video.

and she was besieged with comments from fans who proclaimed the film (and Brooke) to be their favourite.

Brooke’s first claim to fame, following years as a child model and starring in 1978’s Pretty Baby, is the legendary 1980 film.

Fans and celebrities alike flocked to the comments section beneath the nostalgic video. “Loved that movie!” said ABC’s Deborah Roberts, who is married to Al Roker. “You FOREVER Brooke!!!” designer Danielle Snyder wrote.

Fans were completely captivated by the behind-the-scenes vintage video, which brought them back to the time when the film was first released. The film was (and still is) so popular that one person said, “That movie made me want to be stranded on an island.”

“I was obsessed with you and the movie,” one fan said, while another acknowledged, “First movie I snuck [sic] watching!” many others admitted to doing the same.

The flashback film shows a young Brooke dressed in several “stranded on an island” outfits.

In the sepia-toned photos, the diva stuns with her distinctive bushy brows and long, thick hair while wearing a white triangle bikini and lacy shirts.

“I still look back on it with such fondness,” Brooke said, and she paid tribute to the late Alan Pappe, the photographer of her “treasures from my personal photo albums.”

Brooke routinely posts lovely throwbacks on Instagram, and when paired with her modern-day photos, the actress reveals she hasn’t aged a day.
