Charlie Hunnam joins the set of Ryan Murphy’s monster as serial k iller Ed Gein

When ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’ debuted in Los Angeles in September, Ryan Murphy revealed that Hunnam had been cast.

Charlie Hunnam is becoming more sinister.

On the set of Ryan Murphy’s Monster’s third season, the 44-year-old Sons of Anarchy star was seen playing serial killer Ed Gein.

Hunnam changed into Gein in the pictures by donning a brown plaid shirt, pants, and a red plaid jacket. He finished with a comb-over hairdo that harkens back to the notorious killer’s 1950s appearance. The Pacific Rim star will play Gein in the next season of the popular series, according to a September PEOPLE report.

That month, Murphy made the announcement during Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’s Los Angeles premiere.

Variety claims that Gein, a native of Wisconsin, rose to fame in the 1950s after it was discovered that he had murdered several individuals and dug up graves close to his house. He then made clothes and home goods out of the corpses.

The sighting follows the popularity of season 2, which focused on the 1989 murders of Lyle and Erik Menendez, siblings who murdered José and Kitty Menéndez. Some of the most well-known murder cases in America are reenacted in the true crime anthology.

DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, the first season, told the tale of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer (Evan Peters), who killed and dismembered seventeen persons between 1978 and 1991.
