Chiefs WAG says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship is beautiful as they balance love and work
Football isn’t the only thing the pop star is supporting her boyfriend on.
Jayla Thornton-Cook, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs player Bryan Cook, is sharing the importance of support among the wives and girlfriends of athletes, especially when it comes to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
“I feel like it’s beautiful,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively when asked about the singer’s relationship with the football player.
“It all is a work-life balance and everybody’s going through different things. So just for them to acknowledge how hard it is to manage relationships and just deal with everything,”
She adds, “I feel like it’s a great spotlight to have. It is definitely very cool for them. Balance is just the main word of everything, just trying to balance everything. And they’ve been having a really good season so far.”
Since the new NFL season kicked off in September, Swift has been there to support Kelce, who’s coming off a second-consecutive Super Bowl win.
The “So High School” singer, 34, was spotted in Kansas City on Monday, Oct. 7 cheering on Kelce, 35, for the third time in five games, as the Cheifs beat the New Orleans Saints 26-13.
