Denise Richards is channelling her inner doll in preparation for a real “Barbie Girl” moment!
On June 29, the actress turned to social media with video footage of herself wearing outfits inspired by the 1959 Mattel toy, ostensibly for a photoshoot.
The montage began with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star sitting in the sun atop a balcony in pink cutout one-piece swimwеar and huge sunglasses, with palm trees in the background.
In another scene, she can be seen changing up her pool-ready appearance with a vintage-style Barbie top thrown over her bathing suit, while she made steamy duck-lipped expressions at the camera and playfully smiled as bubbles flooded the area around her on-set.
“BTS Love that my favourite colour & Barbie are everywhere right now!” the Instagram Reel captioned, most likely referring to both the increasingly popularised Barbiecore fashion trend and the new Barbie film starring Margot Robbie, which opens in theatres on July 21.
Fans gushed over the amusing stuff in the former Bond girl’s comment area.
“You are definitely Barbie’s sеxy best friend lol,” one person affirmed, while another claimed to be providing “Malibu Barbie.”
Another person referred to her as the “ORIGINAL BARBIE,” and a fourth concurred, “You have had the ‘BARBIE LOOK’ for years!”
Richards’ fans may agree that she nailed the actual Barbie vibe this time, but the TV personality has proven that she’s a veteran at slaying outfits in the rosy colour. Not for long.
