Despite their divorce, Jennifer Lopez is still close to Ben Affleck’s kids.
The 55-year-old singer and actress, who filed for divorce from 52-year-old Affleck in August, is still in contact with his children, Violet Anne, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, a source tells PEOPLE.
“Jennifer is thriving. Regarding the Unstoppable star, the source said that she doesn’t think about the past. She is really appreciative of everything in her life. The divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
“Jennifer stays in contact with the Affleck children,” the insider continues. They are adored by her entire family.
She wants them to know that they may get in touch with her at any time if they need anything.Following a photo of Lopez’s sister Lynda visiting Affleck’s daughter Violet at Yale University, the remarks were made.
With the comment, “New Haven with my favorite Yalie!” Lynda posed for a picture with the student. When discussing his ex’s role in the upcoming wrestling film Unstoppable, which also stars Lopez, Affleck referred to her as “spectacular.”
“Jennifer is spectacular,” Affleck said on Entertainment Tonight when discussing the parallels between Small Things Like These and Unstoppable.
Both films were produced by Affleck and Matt Damon under their production firm, Artists Equity.
