Donald Trump receives a harsh warning from Celine Dion after using one of her songs at a rally
Donald Trump has come under heavy fire from Celine Dion for utilizing her song at a recent presidential campaign event.
The former US president, who is seeking the Republican nomination for president in 2024, is renowned for belting out various tunes when performing live.
The 78-year-old chose to start his demonstration on Friday, August 9, in Bozeman, Montana, by playing Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” before he welcomed supporters.
The Academy Award-winning ballad was included on the Titanic soundtrack, which was released in 1997 and starred Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.The 56-year-old singer sent out a harsh warning through her management, making it obvious that she disapproves of Trump’s actions, as it appeared that the song was played without her consent.
The harsh message was posted on her social media page and said: “Today, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc.
and Celine Dion’s management team learned of the unlawful use of the musical performance, video, recording, and likeness of Celine Dion singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana.
“In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” they said, asking: “… And really, THAT song?”Several jubilant followers applauded the statement’s final phrase in the comment area. “And really, that song? Aunty Celine is pissed off,” exclaimed one individual, while another remarked, “And really THAT song? is sending me into orbit!”
