During the Jake Paul fight, Mike Tyson intends to wear a special outfit in remembrance of his late daughter

Exodus Sierra Tyson, Tyson’s late daughter, will be embroidered into the bottom front corner of his black boxing trunks.

As the former heavyweight champion prepares for his showdown against social media star Jake Paul in a few hours, boxing superstar Mike Tyson has plans to pay tribute to his daughter in a unique way.

Tyson, 58, and Paul, 27, will square off in the eagerly awaited bout at Texas’ AT&T Stadium on Friday, Nov. 15. According to USA Today, Tyson intends to don black boxing trunks for the big event, which will be his first fight since 2020. The name of his late daughter, Exodus Sierra Tyson, will be sewn in white lettering onto the bottom front corner of the trunks.

According to Robert Pursell, a spokesman for BYLT Basics, the firm Tyson has collaborated with for the event, the trunks were made especially to commemorate Exodus’ legacy, the outlet reported.

Exodus was 4 years old when she became caught in a cord on a treadmill in May 2009, and her brother Miguel, who was 7 at the time, discovered her unconscious. She later passed away from her wounds.

Tyson told Oprah Winfrey five months later, in October 2009, that he didn’t want to hear the specifics of his daughter’s death.Because if I find out, someone might be held accountable. And there will be an issue if someone is responsible for that,” Tyson stated at the time.
