The ‘This Is Me… Now’ singer filed for divorce from her husband of two years on Aug. 20, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
Jennifer Lopez was photographed publicly for the first time since filing for divorce from her now-estranged husband, Ben Affleck.
On Friday, Aug. 30, Lopez, 55, was snapped stepping out of her car as she arrived at an event in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The This Is Me… Now singer was dressed stylishly yet casually, sporting a white cutout halter top, wide-leg denim pants, pink-tinted sunglasses and chunky high heels. She accessorized her summer look with a crocodile handbag and lots of jewelry, including rings and gold and silver bracelets.
Lopez’s public outing comes 10 days after she filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on Aug. 20 after two years of marriage.
In her filing, Lopez cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, and indicated that she did not want either half of the former couple to be awarded spousal support.
Last week, Lopez made her first post on social media since the divorce filing, when she reshared a festive selfie image from a fan page on her Instagram Stories on Friday, Aug. 23
