On Sunday, Oct. 20, the musician, 42, shared a video on Instagram of herself in a wedding dress and told her fans that she had “married myself.”
Spears, wearing an ivory gown and veil, posed for the camera while smiling in the video as Sting’s “Fields of Gold” played in the background.
“The day I married myself … Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!” the Crossroads actress captioned the post.The hitmaker then shared another video of herself wearing a white silk mini dress and white-rimmed sunglasses set to the tune of Sheryl Crow’s “Run, Baby, Run.”
The pop superstar — who teamed the outfit with a pair of knee-high black boots — flipped her hair, spun around and danced while seemingly on a private plane in the clip.
“!!! Turks and Caicos here I come,” she captioned the Instagram post.Spears’ latest posts come after her and ex-husband Sam Asghari’s divorce was finalized on May 2, per court documents obtained by PEOPLE. The pair’s separation was announced in August 2023.
