The ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ heroine looked stunning as she celebrated the start of summer with a biкini photo and a salute on the deck of a boat.
Jennifer Connelly sparked interest among fans by releasing a stunning swimsսit snap to kick off summer. On Wednesday, June 21, the Oscar winner, 52, took to Instagram to share a hot photo of herself in a little black two-piece.
Jennifer captioned the photo, which she took while standing on the deck of a boat and saluting, “Happy first day of summer.”
The Top Gun: Maverick star had a handful of her A-list pals leave encouraging messages in the comments section. Chelsea Handler couldn’t stop herself from writing, “Well, that’s pretty hot.”
While Jennifer is a living Hollywood legend, having appeared in the 1986 cult classic Labyrinth, the 1991 romantic comedy Career Opportunities, and the 2000 harrowing addiction drama Requiem for a Dream,
she found a brand-new fan base with the release of Top Gun: Maverick in 2022, where she plays Tom Cruise’s love interest in the sequel to the 1986 blockbuster.
She’s even open to doing another sequel to the box office smash. “Of course I’m interested. “I’ll be there if they want me,” she told ScreenRant. “I was overjoyed when Joe Kosinski called; he directed the film, and I’d previously worked with him on a film called Only The Brave.”
I was looking forward to working with him since Jennifer’s personal life is as successful as her profession in Hollywood. She has an amazing son, Kai, 24, with photographer David Dugan, and two wonderful children, Stellan and Agnes, with British actor Paul Bettany,
who swooped in to ask Jennifer to be his bride shortly after they met while working on A Beautiful Mind (Jennifer went on to win the Best Supporting Actress Award for the film, directed by Ron Howard).
Since A Beautiful Mind, they’ve collaborated on other projects, including the 2009 Charles Darwin drama Creation and the 2015 film Shelter, which Paul directed. In 2003, the stunning couple married in a quiet ceremony in Scotland.
