Although Kaley Cuoco and Melissa Rauch no longer work together, the stars of The Big Bang Theory appear to stay in touch during significant life events.
Kaley announced the arrival of her daughter Matilda Carmine Richie with her boyfriend, Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey, on Instagram on March 30. Among the numerous congratulations The Flight Attendant actress received from celebrity friends and fans was a poignant message from a former cast member.
While it didn’t happen right away, followers noticed Melissa reaching out a few days later in the comments section of Kaley’s original post. She rejoiced at the news with Kaley, telling her how happy she was to see her become a mother.
“Soooo beautiful!!!” exclaimed the Night Court star on April 4.”I am completely overjoyed for you all!.”
Because Melissa’s reaction to Kaley’s life update was so public, longtime showgoers responded with heart emojis and references to her character on The Big Bang Theory.
Although Kaley did not respond (she had just given birth, after all), the two are still close. Furthermore, they have shown up for each other in ways that do not involve working together.
People may recall Melissa co-wrote and starred in the 2016 comedy The Bronze. Kaley made a point of attending the premiere to show her support for her old friend.
