Magic outfit! Nicole appeared at the Met Gala in the iconic dress she wore 19 years ago
One of the major fashion events of the year took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Nicole Kidman arrived at the ball with her husband Keith Urban.
This year’s Met Gala is dedicated to legendary fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019. Many celebrities honored the memory of the couturier by wearing Chanel outfits of his authorship to the event. Nicole Kidman is no exception.
The 55-year-old movie star appeared before photographers in a powdery pink dress with a long train, rhinestones and ostrich feathers. The actress added to the list of celebrities who looked like brides that night.
Among them are Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa and Irina Shayk, who wore an archival white Yohji Yamamoto outfit and refused heels.
Nicole made a splash at the ball, as she shone in a dress that she wore 19 years ago. In it, Tom Cruise’s ex-wife starred in an advertisement for Chanel No. 5 perfume in 2004.
The video featuring Kidman was called Le Film, and rightly so. This is not just a promotional video, but a mini-movie made by renowned director Baz Luhrmann.
This time, the outfit looked as luxurious on Nicole as it did almost 20 years ago. The actress adorned her flowing hair with a black bow to match her sandals, and also put on spectacular earrings.
Kidman came to the Met Gala with her husband Keith Urban. The musician was wearing an elegant black tailcoat and a white shirt. The couple looked happy and in love.
