Matthew McConaughey explains his family’s reasons for leaving Hollywood
Matthew McConaughey, who starred in Interstellar, talked about the reasons for his choice to transfer his family from California to his ranch in Texas years ago.

In regards to his choice, Matthew McConaughey is more than OK.
The Oscar winner gained recognition in the earlier aughts for a number of romantic comedies before winning accolades for films like True Detective and Dallas Buyers Club. Even while movies like How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days helped him make ends meet, the genre ultimately caused him to leave Hollywood in 2010.

Matthew stated, “I was the rom-com dude and that was my lane,” on the Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios podcast on November 20.
“It was functioning. However, Hollywood said, “No, no, no,” to whatever I wanted to do outside of that path because I was so strong in it. “You remain there.”

The Magic Mike star, who married Camila Alves in 2012, went on to say, “I stopped doing what I was doing and I moved down to the ranch in Texas since I couldn’t do what I wanted to do.” “I went there and made a pact with my wife and said, ‘I’m not going back to work unless I get offered roles I want to do.'”He needed to take stock of his career in order to establish boundaries.
“The devil’s in the infinite yeses, not the nos,” Matthew clarified.
