When the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex made an unexpected appearance at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles 2024 Gala on Saturday, October 5, she chose to wear the same gorgeous red Carolina Herrera gown from 2021 in an environmentally conscious move.

According to the website of the organization, Meghan looked amazing as she posed for pictures on the red carpet at the event, which was organized in honor of CHLA’s patients and hospital pediatric staff. She wore a dress with a plunging neckline and a front slit, along with red strappy heels.

Prior to Veterans’ Day in the United States and Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom, Meghan wore the eye-catching Carolina Herrera gown in November 2021 when she and Prince Harry attended the Salute to Freedom dinner honoring veterans at the Intrepid Museum in New York City.

However, Meghan’s glitzy train, which was a prominent feature of her 2021 appearance in the gown, was conspicuously absent when she wore it to the hospital event on October 5.

In 2021, Meghan donned a red dress by Giuseppe Zanotti with a long train, accessorized with red heels. Additionally, she and Harry, both 40, donned red poppies, which have been used since 1921 as a symbol to honor military personnel who have died in
