Melania Trump reportedly breaks with husband Donald on abortion in her upcoming memoir
“Without a doubt, there is no room for compromise when it comes to these essential rights that all women possess from birth,” the former first lady writes, as Donald touts his anti-choice record on the campaign trail.

Melania Trump is preparing to publicize a stance on abortion that contrasts with her husband, former President Donald Trump, just one month ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

In her upcoming memoir, Melania, which is set to be released on Oct. 8, the former first lady, 54, reportedly criticizes the government’s restrictions on reproductive rights, including those on abortion.
“It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy

in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government,” Melania writes in the book, according to The Guardian, which obtained a copy.

“Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?
A woman’s fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes,” she reportedly continues.
