Michael Madsen claims his 28-year wife drove their son to соm mit sս iсidе in his divorce filing
The ‘Kill Bill’ actor asserts in court filings obtained by PEOPLE that the pair split up soon after their son Hudson passed away in January 2022.

After 28 years of marriage, Michael Madsen has filed for divorce from his estranged wife, DeAnna Madsen.
According to court records that PEOPLE was able to get, the 66-year-old actor from Kill Bill claimed that their separation was due to irreconcilable differences, stating that they had broken up soon after their 26-year-old son Hudson’s suicide on January 25, 2022.

The couple was married on April 15, 1996, according to records that were filed in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, September 17.
The celebrity accused his estranged wife of pushing their son to commit suicide “by her neglect, drinking, and alcoholism” in a statement he signed and included with the petition as part of the legal filing. He insisted that the “irreconcilable differences” he had listed did not “adequately describe the divorce filing.”

According to the filings, Madsen, who is being represented by his longtime attorney Perry Wander, has asked for a domestic violence restraining order and has denied the domestic abuse claims that DeAnna brought against him last month.
“The respondent also made a substantial contribution to my personal problems. I am the victim of an abusive, poisonous, and co-dependent relationship that ended with the Respondent coming into my home and falsely accusing me of domestic violence.”
