Officially, a third movie is in the works for The Princess Diaries, which debuted nearly 25 years ago. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anne Hathaway revealed in October that The Princess Diaries 3 is headed for theaters, with production anticipated to start in 2025.
Under the guidance of her royal grandmother, played by the renowned Julie Andrews, Hathaway’s character, Mia Thermopolis, went from being a typical teenager to being a princess and eventually the queen of the fictional Genovia in the 2001
