Paris Hilton walked the Grammys red carpet in Las Vegas decked out in jewels. The DJ and heiress looked stunning in a sheer cape dress adorned with silver gems, which she wore over a nearly transparent gown with metallic details.

Consider it the princess equivalent of a naked dress. To complete the look, she wore her blonde hair in a Barbie ponytail. (Hilton, by the way, has no Grammy nominations.)

Hilton also shared a tender moment with her husband Carter Reum, who posed with her in some photos:

Hilton spoke to Delish in August about the disparity between who she is privately and her public “dumb rich blonde” persona. “That character was something I developed as a result of very traumatic experiences at these boarding schools…

“Living in this fantasy world and portraying this perfect life requires almost a protective shell, or a mask,” she explained. “I believe it was a coping strategy. I ended up creating a massive empire by playing that character, and now I know exactly what I’m doing.”

“Of course, I’m familiar with Walmart. “I knew everything, I knew what I was doing on that show,” she said, referring to the episode of The Simple Life in which she asked a rural family if Walmart sold walls.

“Perhaps I don’t know what some cooking utensils are—that part is true. After being on camera for so long and portraying that character, I revert to that whenever a camera is present.

Because I’m naturally shy, it’s easier for me to play the bubbly character.”

“He’s like no one I’ve ever met in my life before, the first person I’ve let into my heart that I completely trust,” she said of Carter.

He’s my biggest fan, and he always lifts me up and makes me feel safe. It’s incredible to finally experience true love. I don’t think I’ve ever felt anything like it.”
