Pink reveals that her daughter Willow only needed one take to record the song Cover Me in Sunshine
The singer revealed that her 13-year-old daughter was dubbed ‘One Take Willow’ after recording her portion of the track.

Pink’s daughter Willow Sage might be just as musically talented as her mom.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, the “Try” singer stopped by EBMRF’s private Rock4EB event — a fundraiser held to fund research and to find a cure for the rare skin condition epidermolysis bullosa — to give a private performance for tons of celebs, including the night’s host Brad Pitt, Judd Apatow, Kaley Cuoco and more.

Pink didn’t headline the event alone, however. During her performance, she was accompanied by fellow You + Me musician Dallas Green, and her daughter Willow, 13, made a special appearance to close out the show.
As she introduced her final song “Cover Me in Sunshine” — which features Willow — and brought her daughter out on stage, the singer spoke about the teenager’s very successful first attempt at recording her portion of the song ahead of its 2021 release.

“During the pandemic, I taught myself to do GarageBand which for me, is a really big deal, so please be impressed,” the proud mom said, addressing the star-studded crowd.
“And I was doing what I think is a phenomenal take, and in ran my daughter. She’s like, ‘What are you doing?’ I was like, ‘I’m hitting space bars, making magic happen.’ And that was a really good take.”
