The House of Gucci star is taking a break from sunbathing to frolic in the ocean blue, and she’s absolutely channelling Ariel in the process.
Hayek stood braced in shallow waters in a new Instagram snapshot posted over the weekend, her one-piece swimsսit precisely complementing the colour of the ocean surrounding her.
Her hair hung in lovely waves, dripping from the tips down the length of her arms, plainly soaked. She held her sunglasses tightly in one hand and appeared to be shouting out to someone out of frame—we can almost hear her asking enthusiastically, “Did you see that?!”
We all know how difficult it can be to get our hair to cooperate with us—especially when wet—but burying oneself in the salty depths of the sea led to what we’re confidently pronouncing a good hair day for the actress.
“Every now and then, your hair decides to cooperate when you least expect or needed [sic],” she commented with the photo in both English and Spanish, adding the hashtag “#goodhairday.
“Hayek has been living her best life in and near the ocean recently, presumably on an extended stay to Mexico, and fans can’t get enough of the footage she’s been producing.
“Definition of goddess,” one commenter said.
