Sarah Michelle Gellar was a proud mother as she celebrated the birthday of her and husband Freddie Prinze Jr.’s daughter Charlotte.
The 46-year-old former Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress, who recently reconnected with costar Seth Green, took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate the 14th birthday of her firstborn kid.
She used the app’s Stories function to broadcast a short video of herself in pajama trousers with her children’s faces emblazoned on them.
‘If you want to disgrace your daughter on her birthday, wear this to her bus stop,’ she joked.
The actress shared a silent sample in which she pans the camera over her attire, which comprised a black crew neck sweatshirt in addition to the slacks.
In addition to Charlotte, Gellar and Prinze Jr., who married in 2002, have a 10-year-old son named Rocky.
Sarah also paid tribute to her daughter in a grid post to her 4.4 million fans.
The actor, who rose to fame in the late 1990s, shared two throwback images.In one photo, she laughed as a toddler-aged Charlotte sat on her lap and adorably nose-dived into a cupcake.
The second photo showed Charlotte wearing star-shaped coral-colored sunglasses and a white eyelet shirt.’They say daughters give you an equal number of wrinkles from smiling and worrying,’ Gellar said in the post.
Charlotte, I have been smiling wider, laughing louder, and loving more since the day you were born.’
‘And as for the worrying, you are a part of me,’ the touching statement said. One of my best qualities.
