Taylor Swift seems to be dissing Kanye West in song title update
Taylor Swift changed the song’s title to “thank You aimEe” in a live performance of “thanK you aIMee,” which fans initially thought was a jab at Kim Kardashian.

This seemed to be a reference to her conflict with Kanye West. After sharing a live performance of her The Tortured Poets Department song “thanK you aIMee” mashed up with Speak Now’s “Mean,”
which she performed during her June 22 Eras Tour gig in London, the “Cruel Summer” singer sparked controversy. Not only was the song’s release unexpected, but fans also noticed that Taylor had changed the title to “thank You aimEe,” an uncommon capitalization that seemed to allude to her long-running dispute with Kanye West, who now goes by Ye.

Fans have previously conjectured that the original version’s capitalization disparaged Kim Kardashian, who, during her marriage to the “Heartless” rapper, contributed to the intensification of Taylor and Kanye’s argument by sharing recordings of their contentious 2016 phone call.
Additionally, Taylor has shared some details about the song’s inspiration. She discussed the meaning of the TTPD tune while performing it in London.

She addressed the fans at Wembley Stadium on June 22 that “it really makes me think about how every time someone talks s–t,
it just makes me work even harder and makes me even tougher,” according to Parade. “So, it also makes me incredibly thankful for those people.”
