The 43-year-old singer of “Genie in a Bottle” posted a ton of entertaining pictures from her recent trip on Instagram on Wednesday, November 13. One of the rare family photos included her fiancé Matt Rutler, 39, daughter Summer, 10, and son Max, 16.
Max, dressed in fashionable streetwear, towers over his mother on her left as the proud mother embraces her kids in the adorable photo. Rutler stands behind them while Summer smiles for the camera to her right.
The pop sensation wrote, “Unseen bits,” as the description for the photo.Aguilera has two children: Summer with Rutler and Max with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
During an open discussion about her experience as a mother with Glamour in August, the mother of two broke down in tears. She said that seeing her children grow up can “trigger” memories of her own early years.
She told the outlet, “Your children make you feel things you don’t want them to feel.” “And you feel as though you’re reliving the entire experience.”She went on to discuss the conflict between letting her children learn their own lessons and wanting to
shield them from going through the same experiences she endured. She sobbed as she added, “I love my son and my daughter so much, and you do want to shield and protect them from the world.” However, people must take responsibility for their own actions.
