$116 million has been raised for Parkinson’s disease research through the annual gala of the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Together with a legend of music, Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan celebrated a worthy cause!

The couple walked the red carpet with Stevie Nicks on Saturday, November 16, at the annual A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s event hosted by the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Maggie Rogers, a singer, also joined the trio.

While his wife Pollan, 64, looked stunning in a black column dress with a white halter-style accent, Fox, 63, sported a blue suit and a brown dress shirt with a paisley print. Rogers, 30, and Nicks, 76, both donned all-black outfits.

The MJFF’s year-round work with patients, families, scientists, and donors is celebrated during the gala.

The annual event, which is hosted by Denis Leary and features music by Nicks, is being held this year. To far, the gala has raised $116 million for research on Parkinson’s disease. The foundation has raised $1.75 billion since its founding in the fall of 2000.

In 1991, the Back to the Future star received a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. Two years prior to creating the MJFF to support research, he made his illness public in 1998.
