Very sad! Heart’s Anne Wilson shares gruesome details about her health
Heart’s Ann Wilson has revealed that she is battling cancer, and the band has postponed their Royal Flush tour to allow her to recover.
“I recently underwent an operation to remove something that, as it turns out, was cancerous,” Wilson wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “The operation was successful & I’m feeling great
but my doctors are now advising me to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and & I’ve decided to do it.””And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year away from the stage in order to fully recover,” the actress said.
Heart announced in May that the European portion of their Royal Flush tour will be postponed to allow Wilson to undergo what they described as “a time-sensitive but routine medical procedure.”
The remainder of the tour has now been postponed, according to the most recent notice.
“To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs,” Wilson wrote in a letter. “Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025.”
“I appreciate everyone’s support. This is only a pause. “I have much more to sing,” she concluded, adding that she will not make any further public pronouncements on the subject.
In a separate post, Heart asked fans to keep their tickets, as they will be good for future rescheduled performances.
