Will Smith supposedly farted so badly that the Men in Black film shoot had to be shut down. I’m sure most of us have had to stifle a fart in an unpleasant setting.

I am fully in the “better out than in” camp, yet for some reason, people are still shocked when their body performs a normal function.

Having said that, I’d be horrified if I had to close the office for three hours due to an odor from my body. The director of Men in Black confirmed that Will Smith has lived this nightmare.

On Kelly Ripa’s SiriusXM show Let’s Talk Off Camera, Barry Sonnenfeld gave a behind-the-scenes look at the legendary 1997 sci-fi blockbuster.

Smith and co-star Tommy Lee Jones were filming a complicated scenario that required them to be “hermetically sealed” in a small, enclosed location.

The scenario featured the characters aboard a vehicle that changes into a hypercar and travels upside down through the Midtown Tunnel.

Just before the cameras rolled, Smith let out an unintentional yet powerful fart.” They have to be put in this device, which is [a car]

that transforms into a hypercar, and [they’re] going to go through the Midtown Tunnel upside down,” Sonnenfeld told reporters. “We bring them up there, put them in the device, and turn it upside down.
