Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Matt Damon join Tom Holland on the cast of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film

‘Oppenheimer’ sequel directed by Christopher Nolan is apparently scheduled for release in the summer of 2026.

Under Christopher Nolan’s direction, Zendaya and Tom Holland will reunite on the big screen.

According to Variety and Deadline, the 28-year-old actress from Dune and Challengers will co-star with Anne Hathaway in Nolan’s upcoming Universal picture. According to the sites, the film, which also stars Matt Damon, will be released in July 2026.

The plot of the movie is allegedly being kept under wraps.

The 28-year-old Holland and Zendaya, who announced their romance in 2021, had previously collaborated on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019, and Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021.

Hathaway and Nolan’s collaborations go back to 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises and 2014’s Interstellar, while Zendaya and Hathaway, 41, previously collaborated on the set of a Bulgari advertisement in 2022.

The film will be Nolan’s follow-up to the 2023 smash Oppenheimer, in which Damon, 54, also starred.

Last month, a number of publications, including Variety, Deadline, and The Hollywood Reporter, revealed that Holland was negotiating to co-star with Damon in the director’s upcoming film. Filming on Nolan’s next picture is expected to start in early 2025, according to all three sources.

Holland expressed his excitement about the Nolan project on Good Morning America last month. That’s all I can say since, honestly, that’s all I know. And, of course, honored.
